So,my dears,I will change a little the rules of that wonderful game.
Shiritori (しりとり) is a Japanese word game in which the players are required to say a word which begins with the final kana(letter) of the previous word. No distinction is made between hiragana, katakana and kanji. "Shiritori" literally means "taking the bottom" as the Japanese language is traditionally written in vertical columns, from the top down.
* You can use not only nouns.(Just because many of you might not know very well Japanese, that's why I am changing the rules.)
* Words MAY be repeated,BUT at least the repeated word has to be mentioned,at least after 5 new words.
* A player who has played a word ending with N (ん) set a new beginning to the game, as no Japanese word begins with that character. So,the nex
player have to play a new word, giving a new beginning.
* Phrases connected by no (の) are permitted, but only in those cases where the phrase is sufficiently fossilized to be considered a "word".
So,firstly,I'm gonna give an example:
Sor(a) --> (A)kum(a) ---> (A)tarashi(i) ---> (I)nugami ....and so on.I'm sure you got my idea.No need to put the letters in brackets,I did so to make myself clear.
Since there is no one above me,it seems,I need to set the first beginning.Let me pick a word.Hm.
